FOUNDING 100 PROGRAM TERMS
Last updated: May 6, 2026
These supplemental terms govern the "Founding 100" beta program offered by Maddox Edge LLC ("we," "us") through Solar Coach. They apply in addition to, and form part of, the main Terms of Service above.
Eligibility
The Founding 100 program is limited to the first one hundred (100) individuals who create a verified Solar Coach account. Eligibility is determined by signup order and is non-transferable. Once one hundred Founding 100 seats are claimed, the program is closed and no further Founding 100 status will be granted.
Permanent Badge
Founding 100 members receive a permanent "Founding 100" badge on their account profile. The badge is recognition only and does not by itself entitle the holder to any monetary credit, refund, or future product discount. The badge remains on the account for as long as the account exists, regardless of subscription status.
20% Founding Discount — 24-Month Term
Founding 100 members are eligible for a twenty percent (20%) discount applied to the published price in effect at the time of each renewal billing cycle for any standard Solar Coach subscription plan, applied automatically at checkout via a coupon attached to the customer's billing record. The discount runs for a fixed term of twenty-four (24) months from the date the founder's account was created (the "Founding Discount Term"), after which it expires automatically and the standard published price applies. Changes to the underlying published price of a plan are not themselves changes to this Founding Discount and do not trigger the sixty (60) day notice requirement described below; the 20% reduction continues to apply to whatever the published price is at each renewal during the Founding Discount Term.
The Founding Discount Term:
- requires a continuously active paid subscription. If a subscription is canceled and later resumed, the discount applies only to the remaining months of the original 24-month term — the clock is not reset or extended;
- continues to apply if a Founding 100 member upgrades or downgrades within the standard subscription plan family (for example, switching between monthly and annual billing, or moving between standard plan tiers we offer to all customers). The 20% reduction will be applied to the new plan's published price for the remainder of the original 24-month term;
- applies only to recurring subscription charges and does not apply to one-time purchases, add-ons, usage overages, taxes, or services sold by third parties through Solar Coach;
- cannot be combined with promotional codes, referral credits, or other discounts unless we expressly state otherwise at the time the other discount is offered;
- is non-transferable and has no cash value;
- does not automatically apply to any new product, plan tier, or service we may launch in the future. We may, at our discretion, extend the discount to such offerings.
Other Beta Perks
Founding 100 members may also receive additional beta perks such as a direct feedback channel to the founder and feature co-naming credit in our changelog. These perks are provided as a courtesy, are not contractually guaranteed, and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Co-naming credit is opt-in and we will not publish a member's name without their consent.
Modification, Suspension, or Termination of the Program
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Founding 100 program, including the Founding Discount, in whole or in part, at any time, including without limitation in the event that:
- a plan or product to which the discount applies is sunset, restructured, or replaced;
- Maddox Edge LLC undergoes a change of control, merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets relating to Solar Coach;
- continued operation of the program would be commercially impracticable, unlawful, or in conflict with applicable regulations or third-party billing requirements; or
- a member materially breaches these Legal Terms or engages in fraud, abuse, or misuse of the program.
Where we modify or terminate the Founding Discount for reasons other than a member's breach, we will provide at least sixty (60) days' prior notice by email to the address on file and/or by in-app notice, and any such change will take effect prospectively only. The permanent Founding 100 badge will not be revoked except in cases of breach, fraud, or abuse.
No Lifetime Service Guarantee
Nothing in this program constitutes a guarantee that Solar Coach, any specific feature, or any specific plan will remain available indefinitely. Our general rights to modify or discontinue the Services set out in the main Terms of Service apply equally to Founding 100 members.
